Job summary

Advanced Energy in Denver seeks an Engineering Planner to drive NPI scheduling and the transfer of new products from global design centers to manufacturing. You will collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Quality to align product schedules and deliverables.

Qualifications

Excellent verbal and written communication to present ideas clearly.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements in demand, product design and program objectives.
Strong judgment and initiative to balance multiple priorities.
Critical thinking and problem-solving with multicultural experience a plus.
Demonstrated MS Office skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint; MS Project desirable.

Responsibilities

Plan, schedule, coordinate, and monitor final product approval through PDP.
Coordinate production plans for new products ensuring material availability.
Manage on-time delivery goals for products by ship date.
Resolve capacity, material constraints, and schedule interruptions.
Approve quantities, schedules, parts lists for material control and procurement.
Manage and implement NPI Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
Coordinate with engineering to maintain BOMs in SAP.
Manage release of parts, modules, and units to production departments.
Create and maintain work orders, purchase requests and internal transfers.
