Job summary

True Anomaly, a leader in space technology, seeks a Senior Director of Manufacturing, New Product Introduction, to own how new product lines are built. You will create facilities, teams, and processes to industrialize products, partnering with engineering, programs, and facilities to deliver high-rate, high-quality hardware.

This role thrives in ambiguity, builds systems from scratch, and leaves durable teams, culture, and best practices for manufacturing and test across the organization.

Qualifications

• 12+ years manufacturing experience with NPI and ramp leadership.
• Strong engineering background or hands-on tech experience in manufacturing.
• Proven ability to build and scale multi-disciplinary teams including leaders.

Responsibilities

• Own how new products are manufactured from design to qualified production line.
• Define and build manufacturing/test equipment for each product line.
• Design and stand up manufacturing facilities to support NPI.
• Collaborate with Facilities on facility requirements and maintenance plans.
• Build and develop teams across manufacturing and test disciplines.
• Establish culture, processes, and best practices across operations.
• Translate design specs into manufacturable, testable processes.
• Forecast production rate requirements and align capacity to demand.
• Transition mature lines to ongoing operations and continuous improvement.
