Job summary

AUMOVIO is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineering professional to lead New Product Launch activities from development through SOP and ramp‑up in a high‑volume automotive environment. You will coordinate across manufacturing, design, and quality, ensuring cost, timing, and quality targets are met while driving DFM improvements and Lean execution.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in automotive manufacturing or quality engineering, strong leadership, and experience with PLC tools,

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering.
• 2 years in manufacturing or quality engineering, preferably automotive.
• Experience leading projects and new product launches.
• Familiarity with PLC and project management tools.
• Interfacing with automotive customers and portals.
• Experience with core tools: FMEA, APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, 8D, DFM.
• Experience budgeting and tracking expenditures.
• Experience with global cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent leadership and written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for cost, timing and quality of New Product Launch activities.
• Act as the primary interface between manufacturing and design teams.
• Handle customer communications related to NPL activities.
• Ensure compliance with Lean concepts across projects.
• Drive DFM improvements and cost optimization for launches.
• Support group-wide metrics and reporting.
• Lead installation of new production lines to completion.
• Develop line concepts with plant support teams.
• Drive NPL builds to completion and resolve issues.
• Manage changes related to new programs in serial production.
• Control project budgets and refurbishment items.
• Coordinate with suppliers and cross-functional partners.
