Job summary

AUMOVIO is seeking a New Product Launch Engineer in New Braunfels, Texas to support Aurora launches from development to SOP and ramp-up. You will coordinate manufacturing readiness, cost control, quality requirements, and cross-functional activities to ensure launches meet timelines and financial targets.

Ideal candidates will have a engineering degree and 2+ years in automotive manufacturing, with hands-on experience in NPL, PLC, and core quality tools, plus strong leadership and communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering is required.
• 2 years in manufacturing or quality engineering, preferably automotive.
• Experience leading engineering projects or new product launches.
• Experience with PLC and Project Management tools.
• Interface with automotive customers and report project status.
• Familiar with core tools: FMEA, APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, 8D, DFM.
• Experience budgeting and tracking expenditures.
• Experience working with global cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent leadership and clear written/verbal communication.
• US work authorization required; relocation not offered.

Responsibilities

• Own cost, timing, and quality of New Product Launch activities at the site.
• Act as primary interface between manufacturing and design teams.
• Engage in customer communications related to NPL activities.
• Ensure compliance with Lean concepts.
