Job summary

IDEMIA Secure Transactions in Exton, PA, is seeking an NPI Engineer to support new product development from concept through mass production. You will design and industrialize payment card structures and processes, define manufacturing parameters, and qualify products for production.

You will perform FMEA, DoE and Cp/Cpk analyses, coordinate with quality, finance and supply chain, and work with suppliers on new offerings and cost-saving initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree (B.S.) in mechanical, plastic, industrial, or chemical engineering with 2-4 years in production/manufacturing engineering.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Experience with new product development, qualification and introduction.
• Proficiency in statistical methods and process capability indices (Cp/Cpk).
• Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Lean mindset and ability to work in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support new product development from concept through mass production.
• Design and industrialize payment card structures and manufacturing processes.
• Define machine and manufacturing parameters for new processes.
• Perform FMEA, DoE, Cp/Cpk analyses for new processes/products.
• Qualify and approve new products for production.
• Coordinate new product introductions with quality, finance, and supply chain teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve production processes and yields.
• Develop documentation and provide status updates to management.
