Job summary

Wayve in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking an NPI Engineer to drive hardware/software product rollouts. You’ll bridge product development, engineering, safety, and fleet operations to ensure scalable, production-ready solutions that meet performance and adoption goals.

You will lead cross-functional teams through agile development cycles, manage alpha/beta releases, and align roadmaps with release readiness, quality standards, and scalability. Hybrid work model offered.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
5+ years in hardware/software product development or related roles, with at least 3 years in NPI.
Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
Experience with Agile, CI/CD, and DevOps.

Responsibilities

Lead agile hardware/software development cycles to meet milestones.
Develop scalable NPI framework for agile cycles.
Align roadmaps with release readiness, quality standards, and scalability.
Coordinate launch readiness across Field Engineering, Reliability Engineering, and Fleet Operations.
Collaborate with Supply Chain on scalability footprint.
Oversee alpha, beta, and phased rollout milestones.
Incorporate feedback loops to address issues pre/post release.
Lead retrospectives to improve NPI practices.
