Job summary

Infinidat, a Lenovo company, seeks an NPI engineer to own production introduction for new products in the US. You will drive full NPI processes, manage BOMs, product documentation, and working instructions, and lead ECOs and configuration control across the lifecycle.

You will collaborate with multiple departments, support production lines in IL and US, and advance sustainability and certifications. Fluency in English, plus 3+ years in NPI and PLM experience, are required.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of NPI experience.
• Hands-on experience with PLM—BOM, Change Control Management, and Product Configuration.
• Technical HW experience with writing working instructions and part replacement procedures.
• Fluent in English; strong interpersonal and teamwork.
• Experience with CAD 2D/3D drawing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Building and managing Production files: BOMs, Product documentation, working instructions, and drawings.
• Transfer to Production of new products - Full NPI processes.
• Conducting and implementing product changes (ECOs, deviations) and configuration control, managing product lifecycle E2E.
• Ongoing technical support at FTK sub-contractor's production line sites (IL and US) with existing and new products, an initiative for production line continuous improvement.
• Lead the company certifications and compliance maintenance -International and sustainability.
• Work closely with various departments in the company to define manufacturing procedures.

The NPI engineer will be responsible for the configuration control of INFINIDAT products, and all aspects of NPI processes.

• B.Sc. in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering
• At least 3 years of NPI experience.

• Technical experience with HW components including writing working instructions and part replacement procedures
• Familiarity with sustainability certificates - an advantage
• Independent, assertive, and proactive approach -- being able to own a task and deep dive into the relevant details surrounding it, leading projects/tasks E2E
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and a real team player.
• Multitasking skills to be able to work on multiple tasks in parallel.
• Fluent in English - reading, writing, and speaking.
• Microsoft Office tools - Excellent skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint tools.
• Experience with CAD 2D/3D Drawing software -- an advantage
