Job summary

Starkey is hiring an NPI Design Quality Assurance Engineer II at its global headquarters in Eden Prairie, MN. You will partner with Design Engineering on new product development, participate in design reviews, and drive the NPI process focusing on Design Controls, Risk Management, and product quality.

With 4+ years in manufacturing or related engineering, you will work to ensure patient safety and reliable product performance while complying with global regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Design Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Mechanical or Electrical engineering knowledge required.
• Medical device manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Design Engineering on new product development and participate in design reviews.
• Owns and drives the NPI process: Design Controls, Risk Management, Product Performance, Quality, and Compliance; key partner in all department goals and objectives.
• Proactively identify and implement solutions to yield higher reliability and quality products.
• Develops project quality plans to an appropriate level of due diligence and deliver on time.
• Identify and implement procedural improvements to establish a lasting culture of quality.
• Support cross-functional teams with sound, systematic problem-solving methodologies across the product life cycle.
