Job summary

Akkodis is seeking an experienced NPI/CAD Business Analyst to support engineering teams responsible for New Product Introduction and enterprise CAD/PLM processes.

This role requires deep knowledge of NPI engineering workflows, data management, and requirement gathering. You will drive standardization across CAD and PLM environments and partner with stakeholders to design effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline plus 4 years of experience.
• 6+ years of professional experience working with MCAD platforms.
• Strong experience with Siemens NX and Creo Parametric.
• Experience working with PLM and SPDM systems; Windchill preferred.
• Strong business analysis skills; ability to write requirements, user stories, and problem statements.
• Strong project management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineering and business stakeholders supporting New Product Introduction activities.
• Analyze current CAD and PLM processes and recommend improvements.
• Troubleshoot complex user, workflow, and data-related issues.
• Develop requirements documentation and user stories.
• Create conceptual and functional solution designs.
• Coordinate with developers and technical teams during implementation efforts.
• Support CAD and PLM data management initiatives.
• Drive process consistency and standardization across teams.
• Participate in project planning and project management activities.
• Build relationships with engineering organizations and leadership.
• Support governance, conventions, methods, and best practices.
• Contribute to long-term CAD/PLM strategy initiatives.
