Job summary

Caterpillar is seeking a CAD Business Analyst to partner with the business on CAD-related processes and PLM. You will work with Creo Parametric and Windchill, focusing on requirements, data, and process improvements rather than daily production support.

The role emphasizes problem solving, clear requirement writing, and coordination across teams, with a strong project and data management component. Onsite five days a week in ITS.

Qualifications

• Degree in an engineering field or 2-5 years work experience using Creo Parametric with Windchill.
• Experience with Windchill or Creo Parametric support, training, or administration.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to write clear requirements.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot tough CAD-related issues and write problem statements.
• Understand and write requirements for projects and improvements.
• Create optimal conceptual designs for developers to implement.
• Lead significant project and data management efforts related to Windchill/Creo.
