Qualifications

Your Job:
This highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging NPD Specialist position supports the "Grow Our Own" Methodist Health System-Dallas College Associate Degree Nursing Program. This role supports undergraduate nursing students in the Mental Health and Med/Surgical Clinicals specialty settings. It is a dual role as Faculty with our academic partner Dallas College.
Your Job Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Nursing REQUIRED
• Bachelor's Degree of Nursing REQUIRED
• Current license to practice professional nursing in the state of Texas
• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support certification
• NPD Certification or Certified Nurse Educator within two years of start date
• Clinical certification preferred
• Minimum 3 years of experience in clinical nursing practice and application of adult education theory in a hospital and/or School of Nursing
