Job summary
Carrier Global Corporation is seeking an NPD Refrigeration Systems Engineer to advance HVAC cooling/heat pump development and qualification plans in Syracuse, NY. The role involves ensuring product requirement compliance, agency certification, and supporting field quality with timely solutions.
You will maintain master BOMs and engineering specs, coordinate with Marketing, Design Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering, and prepare documentation for qualification reviews while traveling
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 2+ years of product development/ manufacturing experience.
- Master’s degree in Engineering with 1+ year experience in specification, design and manufacture.
- Experience with refrigeration design, heat transfer and control systems.
Responsibilities
- Support HVAC cooling and heat pump development and qualification planning.
- Maintain BOMs, drawings and engineering specifications.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Design Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering.
- Provide engineering support for field quality issues and audits (ETL/UL).
- Prepare materials for Qualification Review Boards and present improvements.
