Job summary

Mestek, Inc. in Dallas, TX seeks an NPD Electrical Engineer II to develop, design, and validate new products using AutoCAD Electrical and rules-based configuration.

You will create scalable drawings, BOMs, and integrate data across configurator, CAD, and ERP to meet schedule and cost targets. Collaborating daily with Mechanical, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain, you will support verification, DFMEA/PFMEA, and manufacturing readiness while adhering to stage-gate processes and our Quality

Qualifications

• Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical for schematics, libraries, and standard templates.
• Experience with rules-based CPQ or configuration engines and mapping to BOMs/drawings.
• Understanding of UL/CSA/IEC, EMC/EMI and NEC/NFPA 70/70E fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and validate products using AutoCAD Electrical and rules-based configuration.
• Size components up to 600V and perform wiring for control systems.
• Create/maintain schematics, wiring diagrams, BOMs; drive ECOs in PLM.
• Author test plans and support DFMEA/PFMEA and validation tasks.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure compliance and readiness.
