Job Title: Nurse Practitioner -Virtual Urgent Care

Position Details:

• CHRISTUS Health is seeking a board certified and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our Virtual Urgent Care team. This role serves new and existing CHRISTUS patients and CHRISTUS associates delivering high-quality, convenient, compassionate care in a virtual setting. Youll work within a physician-led care team using a queue-based system and Epic EMR. This position is PRN with a minimum expectation per month.
• This position will also provide PRN coverage in person at our employee clinic located at our system office in Irving.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnosing and treating patients via telehealth visits, including triage, video visit appointments, and follow-ups as appropriate
• Utilize Epic for all documentation and charting
• Work within a queue-based system, typically seeing 3-4 patients per hour
• Work autonomously and collaborate with both virtual and in-office teammates via daily huddles and monthly team meetings
• Deliver care in alignment with CHRISTUS Health protocols and standards
• Open 365 days a year, 7am-11pm; various shifts available.
• Other duties as assigned
