Job summary

CHRISTUS St. Vincent in Tyler, TX is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for a true PRN role to cover our Pre Admission Surgery Screening clinics when APCs are out on PTO.

The NP hired would need to be available on a regular basis and must hold TX licensure or be eligible. There is no per diem or travel stipend; local or nearby candidates are ideal. Benefits include malpractice insurance, competitive compensation and Epic EMR.

Qualifications

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner with TX license or eligibility.
• Prior NP experience required; new grads will not be considered.
• PRN availability for Pre Admission Surgery Screening coverage.

Responsibilities

• Cover Pre Admission Surgery Screening clinics when APCs are out on PTO.
• Be available regularly to meet staffing needs in Tyler, TX.

This position will be a true PRN position, covering for the full-time APCs in our Pre Admission Surgery Screening clinics when they are out on PTO.

The NP hired for this position would need to be available when needed on a regular basis.
