Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Pediatric Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) specialized in Gene Therapy, with a strong background in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology or Bone Marrow Transplant. The role involves leadership within a patient-centered care model and close collaboration with the pediatric teams.

Must have APHON or BMT certification, NJ RN license, and board certification (AANP/ANCC). Mon-Fri schedule, no weekends or holidays, no on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an NLN/AACN accredited nursing program.
• Masters or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education and clinical practice.
• Experience in a relevant patient care setting (or as regulations dictate).
• National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Prescriptive authority through CDS and DEA registration according to New Jersey state law.
• Collaborative agreement with physicians on staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

The Pediatric Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) utilizes a patient-centered coordinated care model, demonstrating competencies in leadership, direct clinical practice, consultation/collaboration, coaching/guiding, research, and ethical decision-making. The APN works collaboratively with the practice/hospital team to assess, plan, and implement care for individuals with health and safety needs.

Seeking a Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplant Pediatric or Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in Gene Therapy.

Must have experience working in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology, or Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplant.

APHON or BMT certification required

Monday-Friday, no weekends or holidays. No call.
