Job summary

Aspirus Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to help grow and shape our Hospitalist team at Aspirus Chippewa Falls Hospital, opening September 2026. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a new program and contribute to building a strong, patient-centered inpatient service.

Daily schedule is 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM on a 7 days on / 7 days off cycle, with flexible FTE options (6 FTE or 5 FTE).

Qualifications

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Hospitalist or inpatient experience required.

Responsibilities

• Participate as part of the code team.
• No ICU responsibilities; ICU-level patients are transferred to higher-level care facilities.
• Collaborate with onsite Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine providers.
• Access to onsite services, including CT, MRI, ultrasound, lab and pharmacy.
