Job summary

Sunterra Springs Riverview in Boise, Idaho seeks a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide patient-centered care across assisted living facilities, independent living facilities, and private residences. You will evaluate acute and chronic conditions, manage medications, order tests, and coordinate treatments with facility staff and caregivers.

Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program with current licensure, DEA if required, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current, unrestricted NP or PA license in each state of practice.
• Current DEA registration and controlled-substance authority, when required.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person medical care to patients in ALFs, ILFs, and private residences.
• Prescribe and manage medications, order laboratory testing and diagnostic studies.
• Coordinate treatments, therapies, equipment, and referrals as appropriate.
• Assess functional status and develop the plan of care.
• Complete timely electronic documentation and charge capture after each visit.
• Travel between assigned facilities and patient residences as needed.
• Participate in provider meetings and after-hours or on-call coverage.
