Essentia Health in Duluth, MN seeks an NP/PA to join a complex surgery team with 4 APPs and 3 MDs. The role is hospital and clinic-based, providing walk-in, procedure follow-up, and wound care access for patients from newborn to elderly.

The position offers a mix of hospital and clinic duties (80%/20%), with a typical M-F schedule and on-call rotation. RN/NP/PA licensure and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a registered nurse in appropriate state.
• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in appropriate state.
• Current CPR certification.
• National certification in applicable area.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients in clinic and hospital settings with emphasis on walk-in, follow-up, and wound care.
• Join a complex surgery team with 4 APPs and 3 MDs.
• Balance hospital (80%) and clinical (20%) responsibilities.
• Collaborate with physicians and other health care professionals to promote health and prevent disease.

Provides health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention.
