Job summary

Crouse Medical Practice is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive medical care under physician supervision. The role includes taking histories, performing exams, ordering tests, prescribing medications, and patient education.

Travel between locations with the supervising physician is required. Ideal candidates hold NY State NP/PA certification, BLS, and demonstrate calm leadership in emergencies.

Qualifications

• Current NY State certification/registration as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• Demonstrated ability to remain calm and effective in emergency situations and establish a leadership role in an emergency.
• Demonstrated knowledge of health promotion, health risk identification, and patient education principles and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Under a physician's supervision, deliver a broad range of medical services, including taking histories, conducting physical exams, ordering tests, administering treatments, and counseling patients.
• In this position, travel between locations with supervising physician is expected.
• Prescribe medications and assist physicians as needed.
• Maintain quality, safety, and infection control standards.

Position Description

Under a physician's supervision, the NP/PA is responsible for the delivery of a broad range of medical services, including taking medical histories, conducting physical examinations, ordering diagnostic tests, administering treatments, monitoring patients, prescribing medications, assisting physicians, and counseling and educating patients. In this position, the ideal candidate must be open to traveling between locations, with their supervising physician.

Pay Range: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 DOE
