Job summary

Responsibilities include supervising tilt table testing and participating in a limited weekend call rotation. The ideal candidate should be ready for some travel around various care locations in Wisconsin. Experience with Epic EMR is preferred.

Position Overview

ThedaCare, Wisconsin's largest non-profit healthcare system is seeking a Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant to work with our Cardiology team at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center – Appleton.

Responsibilities

• Perform inpatient rounding and work in the clinic with 50/50 mix of inpatient and outpatient care; day schedules may vary.
• Collaborate with a provider to streamline and create care teams, covering vacation coverage and additional provider support as needed.
• See general cardiology, structural and interventional patients.
• Supervise tilt table testing.
• Call rotation limited to no more than 1 out of every 6 weekends; typical call on Saturday and Sunday from 8AM‑12PM, extended as needed based on patient census.
• Provide in‑hospital rounding and calls with the designated provider.

Service Areas and Travel

• TCA – 4 cath labs (Philips, ACC accredited)
• TCN – 2 cath labs
• Other locations: Waupaca, Shawano, Berlin, NL, Clintonville; some travel expected.
