Job summary

CoxHealth Branson is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner to join the Emergency Department team. You will collaborate with a physician for clinical decision-making, manage patient care, order tests, and develop treatment plans.

Requires a Master of Science in Nursing and MO Nurse Practitioner license; credentialing within 90 days. Rotating shifts, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM or 11:30 AM–9:30 PM, 36 hours per week, on site at CoxHealth Branson.

• Must hold MO Nurse Practitioner license.
• Credentialing within first 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a physician for clinical decision-making, case management and evaluation of performance.

Job Description

The Nurse Practitioner works in collaboration with a physician for assistance in clinical decision‑making, case management and evaluation of performance. The Nurse Practitioner provides advanced nursing care and treatment to patients and performs physical examinations; orders diagnostic tests, develops treatment plans and prescribes drugs or other therapies. The Nurse Practitioner may also plan, direct, or coordinate medicine and health services in hospitals, clinics, managed care organizations, public health agencies, or similar organizations.

Education

• Required: No Prior Experience Required
• Preferred: 1-2 years
