CHRISTUS Health in New Braunfels, TX is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our busy Urgent Care team. Candidates must have urgent care experience and the ability to manage patients independently in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

You will provide evaluation and treatment for a wide range of urgent and non-emergent conditions, perform minor procedures, order tests, and document thoroughly in the EMR.

Formación

• Licensed NP or PA in Texas
• National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)
• Previous urgent care experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate and treat patients with urgent and non-emergent conditions
• Perform minor procedures, wound care, suturing, splinting, and other urgent care services
• Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostics such as X-rays and labs
• Collaborate with urgent care physicians and staff to ensure high-quality care
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation and treatment for patients with a wide range of urgent and non-emergent conditions

• Perform minor procedures, wound care, suturing, splinting, and other urgent care services

• Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests such as X-rays and labs

• Collaborate with urgent care physicians and support staff to ensure high-quality care

• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care

• Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR system

Qualifications

• Licensed NP or PA in the state of Texas

• National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)

• Previous urgent care experience required

• BLS and ACLS certifications

• Excellent clinical judgment and ability to work independently

Schedule & Compensation

• 3 ½ shifts per week, with rotating weekends
