Job summary

Adoration Health in Camp Hill, PA is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for a PRN, on-site role. You will conduct patient assessments, manage symptoms, and develop care plans aligned with patient goals in a compassionate, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities include diagnostic testing, medication management, and coordination with the IDT and community partners. Hospice-focused experience and gerontology/ family NP certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and Nurse Practitioner program.
• Master’s degree with a minimum of one year NP experience.
• One year NP or RN hospice experience preferred.
• Current nursing license in state of practice.
• Current DEA license (state regulations permitting).
• CPR certification and NP certification as required.
• Family/Adult/Gerontology NP cert preferred.
• Excellent observation, communication, and written skills.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable vehicle.

• Prescribe medications and coordinate hospice services.
• Conduct face-to-face visits for eligibility and recertification.

• Educate patients and families on medical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
• Contribute to quality improvement and professional development.
• Serve as a clinical resource and liaison to community partners.

As a Nurse Practitioner You will:

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and Nurse Practitioner program
• Master’s degree with a minimum of one year NP experience
• One year of NP experience or one year of RN hospice experience
• Minimum of one (1) year hospice or palliative care experience preferred
• Current nursing license in the state of practice
• Current DEA license (if applicable to state regulations)
• Current CPR certification
• Certification from an approved advanced practice nursing certifying body, as required by the state
• Nurse Practitioner Certification in Gerontology, Adult, or Family (preferred)
• Excellent observation, verbal, and written communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and mathematical skills
• Proficient in nursing skills as outlined in the competency checklist
• Demonstrated ability to counsel and communicate effectively with patients and families regarding end-of-life issues
• Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state/or organization requirements and is in good working order
