Job summary

Penn State Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our Outpatient Neurology team at Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA. This full-time position offers a day shift (8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.) with no weekends or call, in an outpatient setting caring for adults with various neurological conditions.

The role includes collaboration with neurologists and APNs, mentorship, and opportunities to develop procedures such as Botox, lumbar punctures, and peripheral nerve blocks.

Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Nursing with clinical specialization required.
• Two (2) years' work experience as a RN required.
• Current licensed to practice as a CRNP by Pennsylvania Board of Nurse Examiners required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive evaluation and management of patients with neurological conditions in outpatient neurology.
• Collaborate with neurologists and Advanced Practice Providers as part of a supportive team.
• Develop procedural skills, including Botox for chronic migraine, lumbar punctures, and peripheral nerve blocks.

Education

Nurse Practitioner – Outpatient Neurology

Penn State Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our growing Outpatient Neurology team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced neurology provider or a Nurse Practitioner interested in developing expertise in a collaborative, supportive environment.

Position Highlights:

• Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m
• No weekends or call
• Outpatient practice caring for adult patients with a variety of neurological conditions
• Collaborative team of neurologists and Advanced Practice Providers
• Mentorship and specialty training available
• Opportunities to develop procedural skills, including Botox for chronic migraine, lumbar punctures, and peripheral nerve blocks
• Neurology experience preferred but not required

The Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive evaluation and management of patients with conditions including headache, movement, cognitive, sensory, motor, and gait disorders.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

• Masters Degree in Nursing with clinical specialization required.
• Two (2) years' work experience as a RN required.
• Current licensed to practice as a CRNP by Pennsylvania Board of Nurse Examiners required.
