A leading recruitment agency is seeking a van driver with multi-drop experience for a temporary contract in Newport. This role involves regular deliveries to clients, requiring strong customer interaction and a methodical approach. Candidates must demonstrate reliability and a high level of fitness to handle heavy goods during their shifts.
Our Client is based in the Gwent Arearequires a reliable van driver with multi drop experience & very goodknowledge of South Wales – delivering to Business Clients as far as the WestMidlands & London
The hours are from 06.00 – 17:00 Mon- Fri
Temporary Contract durationUnknown at the stage, initially covering long term sickness but reliable, hardworking candidates will always be considered for ongoing/permanent work.
The Position requires support for 2 days per week(Actual days will be confirmed at Interview stage)
Please note that this job requires you toregularlydeliver to client’s premises which will require common sensewhen parking and allfines/penalties or speeding offencesyou will beliable for.
This job requires you to be methodical and to loadyourvehicle according to the sequence of delivery drops during your workingday.
The job requires aHigh level offitnessas you will be constantly ‘jumping’ in andout of thevehicle – delivering Heavy Weighted goods/supplies.
