Job summary

Happy to Help Caregiving is seeking a Weekend In-Home Caregiver in Idaho Falls, ID to provide non-medical care in clients' homes on weekends. You will build meaningful relationships with seniors, veterans, and individuals with disabilities while ensuring safety, comfort, and independence at home.

Responsibilities include companionship, personal care support, meal prep, light housekeeping, mobility assistance, transportation, and adherence to care plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal care instructions.
• Comfortable assisting with personal care and mobility support.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• CNA certification is a plus but not required.
• Previous caregiving/home care experience preferred.

• Preparing meals and snacks based on client preferences and dietary needs.

• Assisting with mobility, transfers, repositioning, and walking assistance.
• Providing transportation to appointments, errands, grocery shopping, and approved outings.
• Offering respite care to support family caregivers.
• Following individualized care plans and documenting services provided.
• Reporting changes in client needs or concerns to the office promptly.
• Promoting each client's independence, dignity, and quality of life through compassionate care.

About the Role

Happy To Help Caregiving is seeking compassionate, dependable caregivers to join our team providing non-medical in-home care throughout Idaho Falls, Ammon, Iona, Ucon, Shelley, and surrounding communities.

As a weekend caregiver, you'll provide one-on-one support that helps seniors, veterans, and individuals with disabilities remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. What You'll Do

No previous caregiving experience is required. We provide training for individuals with a caring heart, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.

Location and Schedule

• Location: Idaho Falls, Ammon, Iona, Ucon, Shelley, and surrounding communities
• Schedule: Weekend shifts available (Saturday and Sunday)
• Flexible daytime, evening, and overnight shifts available
• One-on-one, non-medical in-home caregiving
• Work directly with clients in private residences
