Overview

Russo's Hospitality Group, a well-known catering establishment in Queens, NY, is seeking a Bartender. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, customer service, and a strong work ethic to excel in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will craft and serve a variety of beverages to guests of the establishment.

Responsibilities

• Foster a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere for guests by skillfully preparing and serving their preferred beverages


• Ensure the bar area is clean and well-organized, while following sanitation and safety protocols


• Develop and maintain knowledge of drink recipes, wine selections, and beers on tap


• Analyze customers' flavor preferences and craft personalized drink recommendations that suit their tastes


• Collaborate with other FOH staff to ensure efficient and effective service


• Maintain professionalism and charm, even in demanding situations


• Take inventory of bar supplies before, during, and after events

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in bartending


• New York Bartending Certificate (TIPS) is a mandatory requirement for this position


• Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor


• Strong knowledge of mixology and drink recipes


• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment


• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed


• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds


• 21 years of age or older
