Job summary

Executive Home Care of Saddleback Valley in Orange County, CA is hiring compassionate Respite Caregivers to support individuals and families through the Regional Center of Orange County (RCOC).

This part-time role offers flexible schedules, one-on-one care, and the chance to assist adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities at home and in the community, with training, advancement opportunities, and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Caring, patient, dependable individuals.
• Experience with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Experience with autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, or other support needs is a plus.
• Ability to communicate professionally with consumers and families.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass required background screening.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 supervision, companionship, and respite care.
• Engage consumers in activities based on their interests and abilities.
• Assist with daily routines and personal care as needed.
• Support safety and independence in the home and community.
• Give parents and family caregivers a well-deserved break.
• Follow each consumer's individualized care plan.

Executive Home Care is hiring compassionate and dependable Respite Caregivers to support individuals and families served by the Regional Center of Orange County (RCOC).

This is a great opportunity for caregivers, students, DSPs, CNAs, HCAs, and anyone who enjoys helping adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities live safely and comfortably at home.
