Job summary

Sweetwater Care in Glendale, AZ is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our resident-focused team. You will provide direct patient care, develop and implement nursing care plans with physicians and therapists, and ensure a clean, safe environment that supports optimal outcomes for residents.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, has at least one year of RN experience (acute care preferred), and is able to work flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• At least 1 year of RN experience.
• Acute care setting experience preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Rehab experience preferred.
• Experience with electronic charting systems.
• Current BLS certification from AHA required.
• ACLS certification from AHA preferred.
• CRRN preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains resident care in a clean, safe environment.
• Develops and ensures nursing care plans with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants.
• Makes nursing diagnoses to guide care strategy.
• Collaborates with the resident and healthcare team.
• Records the administration of medication.
• Monitors staff to ensure safety regulations are followed and state/government regulations are met.
• Follows procedures for use of nursing equipment and supplies.
• Performs other duties as directed.

Job description

Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse include but are not limited to:

• Ensures proper resident care is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
• Develop and ensure the nursing care plan and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants
• Makes nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care
• Collaborates with the resident, members of the healthcare team
• Records the administration of medication
• Monitor assigned staff to ensure established safety regulations are followed and that all tasks are performed following all state and government regulations and safety procedures as outlined by the facility
• Follows procedures related to the use of nursing equipment and supplies
• Performs other duties as directed

Qualifications of the Registered Nurse include:

• An active RN license
• Prior experience as an RN for at least one year
• Acute care setting preferred
• The desire to care for compromised patients and act with integrity
• The ability to work flexible hours
• Rehab experience preferred
• Must have electronical charting system experience
• Current BLS certification from AHA required
• Current ACLS certification from AHA preferred
• Must have electronic charting system experience
• CRRN preferred but not required
