Job description

Provides fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient service to all Price Chopper customers. Ensures that all production/display guidelines are adhered to regarding bakery products to promote optimal sales opportunities. Must operate within all sanitation guidelines and procedures set by the company and state.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Consistently work to provide fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient customer service at all times.
  2. Be responsible for smiling, making eye contact, and thanking customers upon fulfilling their requests.
  3. Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work station according to 5S standards at all times.
  4. Ensure customer satisfaction through product availability, quality, outstanding service, and sanitary conditions.
  5. Maintain an adequate presentation with the proper variety of cakes necessary to meet customer needs.
  6. Maintain, with the Bakery Manager, the "Deco Pac" inventories at actual physical levels taken annually, as determined by the corporate office.
  7. Ensure that variety standards (e.g., Butter Crème and seasonal colors) are maintained daily.
  8. Collaborate with the bakery manager to maintain production and shrink levels as per company guidelines.
  9. Operate bakery equipment including ovens, mixers, and utensils.
  10. May be asked to be in charge of the baker in the absence of the manager and first clerk.
  11. Maintain a high level of customer courtesy and service at all times.
  12. Handle all customer special orders (e.g., cake orders).
  13. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  14. Ensure all associates follow corporate and state sanitation regulations.
  15. Perform other related duties as assigned by management and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Must be at least 18 years of age.
