Qualifications

• Current or previous Level II MT/PT/VT certification in accordance with SNT-TC-1A.
• Documented classroom training and OJT experience hours available for review.
• Experience performing weld inspections.
• Ability to meet shipyard badging and access requirements.
• NAVSEA or shipyard experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform Magnetic Particle (MT), Liquid Penetrant (PT), and Visual Testing (VT) inspections on structural welds and related components.
• Conduct inspections in accordance with NAVSEA procedures, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Accurately document inspection results and maintain required records.
