Job summary

BrightStar Care of East & NW Columbus is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to support individuals with developmental disabilities, promoting independence and community involvement. Starting pay is $18.00/hour with multiple shifts available, including 8:00 AM–4:00 PM and 4:00 PM–12:00 AM, plus open availability for some roles.

We value dependable, compassionate, patient professionals who uphold person-centered care and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Ohio DSP Certificate in My DODD.
• Valid Ohio Driver’s License and auto insurance with a reliable vehicle.
• Valid MUI/UI Certificate and Medication Certification.
• Current CPR & First Aid Certifications.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with developmental disabilities and promote independence, dignity, and community involvement.
• Provide person-centered support and maintain a safe, respectful environment.

Education
