Maxim Healthcare is now hiring an experienced Dentist for a position with one of our well-respected clients, Washington Corrections Center in Shelton, WA.

This position is flexible in schedule and hours. 40-hour weekly availability strongly preferred! The contract is ongoing, and the client will accept part-time applicants. All housing, transportation, and malpractice fees will be covered by Maxim.

Basic Requirements:

1. Makes oral examinations of patients to determine oral health.
2. Extracts teeth, removes cavities from teeth; prepares teeth for fillings and inserts filling material such as amalgam, plastic, gold, or acrylic.
3. Diagnoses and treats pathological conditions; prescribes medication for treatment of diseases of dental nature; renders periodontal treatments; administers local or general anesthetic; takes and processes dental radiographs.
4. Constructs appliances such as dentures, partials, minor orthodontic appliances, bridgework, crowns, jackets, and inlays.
5. Gives instruction and promotes dental care and hygiene among patients.

Qualifications:

Doctor's degree from an accredited school of dentistry, AND two years' experience in the practice of dentistry is strongly preferred. Note: A valid Washington State license to practice dentistry is required.
