Position: Dental Assistant
Location: Clermont Periodontics and Implant Center – Clermont, FL
Compensation: $18–$22 per hour, based on experience
Employment Type: Full-Time

Clermont Periodontics and Implant Center is seeking a qualified and reliable Dental Assistant to join our team. We are committed to providing exceptional care in a professional and compassionate environment. This role is ideal for a candidate who values precision, patient care, and teamwork.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the periodontist during surgical and non-surgical procedures, including dental implant placements and periodontal treatments
  • Prepare and maintain a sterile and organized clinical environment
  • Take digital radiographs and intraoral photographs
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using Open Dental
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards
  • Contribute to a positive patient experience through excellent communication and chairside manner
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of one year of experience in dental assisting preferred; experience in periodontics or oral surgery is a plus
