Job summary

Right at Home Greater Jax is hiring CNAs and Personal Care Assistants to provide in-home care to clients in need of daily assistance in Florida. The role includes mobility support, companionship, and basic healthcare tasks in a home setting.

We offer flexible scheduling, paid training, and benefits such as health insurance and mileage reimbursement. Candidates must have an active Florida CNA license, CPR, and a valid driver’s license to join our team.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Valid driver's license.
• Pass a background check.
• CPR certification.
• Active Florida CNA license.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with transfers and mobility
• Light housekeeping (vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, dishes, laundry, bathroom cleaning)
• Meal preparation and snacks
• Accompanying clients to errands or medical appointments
• Bathing, dressing, grooming, and shaving
• Medication reminders
• Assisting with prescribed range-of-motion exercises
• Dementia care
• Companionship activities (reading, music, puzzles, etc.)
