Job summary

Right at Home is seeking CNAs and HHAs to join our compassionate team in Florida. You will assist clients with daily living activities, help with mobility, prepare meals, and provide companionship in home care settings.

The role requires an active Florida CNA license, CPR certification, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. A background check is mandatory, and we offer paid training and flexible scheduling to fit your needs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance.
• Pass a background check required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Help with transfers and mobility.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks.
• Prepare meals and snacks.
• Accompany clients to errands or medical appointments.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and shaving.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Support with range-of-motion exercises and dementia care.
• Offer companionship through reading, music, puzzles, etc.

Responsibilities and Duties:

In this role, you will assist clients with activities of daily living, including but not limited to:

• Assisting with transfers and mobility

• Light housekeeping (vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, dishes, laundry, bathroom cleaning)

• Meal preparation and snacks

• Accompanying clients to errands or medical appointments

• Bathing, dressing, grooming, and shaving

• Medication reminders

• Assisting with prescribed range-of-motion exercises

• Dementia care

• Companionship activities (reading, music, puzzles, etc.)

Qualifications and Skills:

• Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

• Valid driver’s license

• Pass a background check

• CPR certification

• Active Florida CNA license
