Diesel Mechanic – Fairbanks, AK

$4,500 STAY-ON BONUS + $1,200 TOOL ALLOWANCE

Location: Fairbanks, AK (Occasional trips to Healy, AK required)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay $31.00 to $35.00 per hour. Depending on Experience. Plus Stay on Bonus and Tool allowance every year.
Type: Full-Time | Overtime Available

️ What You’ll Be Wrenching On

You’ll be the backbone of our operation — keeping our fleet of diesel trucks and heavy equipment safe, reliable, and road-ready.

  • Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, brake, and suspension systems

  • Perform routine PMs and emergency road calls

  • Use onboard systems to troubleshoot and resolve issues

  • Review driver inspection reports and complete required repairs

  • Document work with fleet maintenance software

  • Maintain a clean, safe, OSHA-compliant shop

What You Bring to the Table

  • 1+ year of heavy truck repair experience OR vocational training

  • Your own tools (we help with that — see the allowance!)

  • CDL (Class B w/ air brakes) preferred

  • Welding/fab skills? Big bonus points

  • Able to lift 50+ lbs and work in indoor/outdoor conditions

  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and pride in quality repairs

Work Environment

  • Clean, well-lit shop + outdoor road calls in all Alaskan weather

  • Tight spaces, greasy hands, big machines — you know the drill

  • Safety-first mindset, always

What’s in It for You

  • Pay: $31.00 to $35.00 per hour. Depending on Experience.
