Job summary

Steve & Kate's Camp in Fremont, CA is seeking enthusiastic team members to help guide campers through a variety of hands-on activities from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm during the 2026 camp dates. You will supervise, facilitate, and support safe, creative play, adapting activities to campers' interests.

Ideal candidates are energized by working with children aged 4–12, capable of lifting up to 40 lbs, and comfortable collaborating with a team to run engaging programs.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years of age.
• Minimum of 2 months experience working with camp-age children, with 1 year preferred.
• First Aid & CPR certified prior to Day 1 of Camp (some locations may require additional certifications)

Responsibilities

• Staff members will facilitate activities, make connections, and monitor safety and wellness.
• Some staff will create or oversee activity spaces; others will work in rotating support roles.
• Activities include sewing, stop-motion animation, maker space, performing arts, arts and crafts, lounging, recreation.
