Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist with meal preparation and dining services for residents in a long-term care facility. You will help ensure dietary requirements are met and maintain a clean, safe kitchen and dining environment.

You will interact positively with residents and staff while following safety protocols and contributing to high-quality resident experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Experience in food service is a plus but not required.
• Must be able to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance may be required.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
