Job summary

Boulder Crossing Health & Rehabilitation in Streetsboro, OH is seeking a compassionate Dietary Aide to join our dining team. You will assist with meal preparation, portioning, serving residents, and maintaining a clean dining environment to support nutritious, enjoyable meals.

You will work with a skilled dietary team, adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines, follow dietary orders, and collaborate with nursing staff to ensure high-quality resident care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, assemble, and serve resident meals according to prescribed diets and meal schedules.
• Set up and deliver meal trays and food service carts accurately and on time.
• Serve meals and beverages while providing courteous, resident-centered service.
• Collect and bus meal trays after service.
• Assist with food preparation, portioning, labeling, and storage.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, dining areas, dishes, utensils, and food service equipment.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and report equipment concerns promptly.
• Follow all food safety, infection prevention, and sanitation guidelines.
• Observe resident dietary restrictions and therapeutic diet orders.
• Work cooperatively with nursing staff and other departments to ensure quality resident care.
• Attend required in-service education and training programs.
• Protect resident privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Follow Residents' Rights, facility policies, Corporate Integrity standards, and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Dietary Manager or supervisor.
