First Citizens Bank is seeking an experienced Senior Credit Risk Analyst II to independently evaluate the creditworthiness of nonprofit borrowers. You will mentor junior analysts and support risk management initiatives within the Nonprofit Banking team.

The role emphasizes financial statement analysis, underwriting, and regular credit risk reviews, with strong writing skills and experience in not-for-profit lending. A hybrid work arrangement is expected.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Commercial Lending, Financial Analysis, Credit Underwriting OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Commercial Lending, Financial Analysis, Credit Underwriting.
• License or Certification: Successful completion of a formal credit or financial analyst training program.
• Preferred: Working knowledge with Moody's CreditLens and credit analysis of lending to not-for-profit organizations.

Responsabilidades

• Portfolio management – Prepare timely and insightful financial analysis and credit underwriting for a diverse, highly complex portfolio of not-for-profit borrowers.
• Perform pre-screening and due diligence of new not-for-profit loan requests by analyzing financial statements and related reports.
• Review loan approvals, terms, and conditions, and support loan closing and booking processes.
• Lead and coach junior analysts, contribute to underwriting procedures, and participate in special projects.
