Job summary

CLA is seeking an Audit Senior to strengthen our nonprofit practice in the Midwest. The role focuses on leading assurance engagements for nonprofit clients across the region, coordinating with clients and decision makers, and delivering accurate financial disclosures and internal control assessments.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, 2 years of audit experience, and CPA exam eligibility is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Eligible to sit for CPA exam preferred.
• 2 years of relevant audit experience required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and execute Assurance engagements to provide excellent client service.
• Work closely with clients and decision makers while performing a wide range of assurance procedures.
• Prepare financial statements and related disclosures and reportable condition correspondence letters.
• Assess the design and implementation of internal controls.
• Schedule, delegate, and train team members to help them build inspired careers.
• Collaborate with managers to ensure effective communication and service delivery.
• Develop and maintain effective client relationships.
