CLA is seeking an Audit Senior to join our nonprofit practice in the Midwest. Locations include Minnesota and Illinois offices.

You will plan, lead, and execute assurance engagements for nonprofit clients, while coordinating with clients and decision makers on a range of audit procedures. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with 2 years of audit experience and CPA exam eligibility preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• Eligible to sit for CPA exam is preferred.
• 2 years of relevant audit experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and execute Assurance engagements for nonprofit clients.
• Collaborate with clients and decision makers while performing audit procedures.
• Prepare financial statements and related disclosures and correspondence.
• Assess design and implementation of internal controls.
• Schedule, delegate, and train team members.
• Communicate with managers/principals for service delivery.
• Develop and maintain client relationships.
