Job summary

Prolific is seeking fluent Norwegian speakers to act as evaluators for AI training tasks. You will perform side-by-side evaluations of text and voice clips, judging naturalness and authenticity to help AI models understand nuanced Norwegian language.

Successful candidates will work from home with flexible hours, earning up to $20 per hour. Prior linguistics or translation experience is a plus, and a quiet setup with quality headphones is required.

Qualifications

• Fluent Norwegian speaker with strong command of natural, everyday Norwegian.
• Ability to distinguish subtle differences in accent, tone and vocal delivery.
• Fluent English for instruction following and reporting.
• High attention to detail; background in linguistics or translation is a plus.
• Access to quiet environment and good quality headphones/speakers.
• Must have a PayPal account to receive payment.

Responsibilities

• Side-by-side evaluation of text and voice snippets for quality and authenticity.
• Assess naturalness of AI-generated audio and rate how natural the voice sounds.
• Identify where AI tone or pronunciation feels unnatural or culturally mismatched.
• Check if intonation matches the cultural context of the conversation.
• Provide feedback on the naturalness, tone and authenticity of audio.
