Job summary

J Street is seeking a Regional Associate for the Northwest to join an eight-person West Coast team based in the San Francisco Bay Area. You will help grow fundraising, steward donors, engage leadership, and deepen J Street’s impact in the Northwest, with support from the Northwest Regional Director.

Ideal candidates will be passionate about US-Israel-Palestine policy, highly organized, and adept at building lasting relationships with donors and leaders.

Qualifications

• At least two years of relevant experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to build and cultivate relationships with leaders, donors, and staff.
• Experience with Israeli–Palestinian conflict and its impact on US politics.
• Strong understanding of the political and Jewish communal landscape.
• Highly organized with ability to manage competing priorities.
• Detail-oriented with reliable records.
• Willingness to travel regionally and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and manage donor relationships to increase support for J Street and J StreetPAC.
• Identify new funding sources through prospect identification, research and development.
• Cultivate donors for long-term growth and planned giving.
• Plan and host high-impact donor events to raise funds and expand leadership networks.
• Identify and empower regional leaders to drive J Street’s mission.
• Engage lay leaders with advocacy, political power building, and community organizing.
• Strengthen Northwest chapters and expand J Street’s impact locally.
• Coordinate chapter meetings and strategic programming with chapter chairs.
• Track work in CRM and Google Suite; maintain high data accuracy.
