The position reports to the Public Policy Director, West/Midwest US, and requires strong cross‑functional collaboration, strategic thinking, and experience in state government affairs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in political science, business/strategy, economics, legal, communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in public policy, advocacy, or government affairs.
  • Understanding of state political process, policymakers, and stakeholders in region.
  • Experience creating and implementing advocacy campaigns for state government with milestones.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and analyze state legislative proposals impacting Meta.
  • Represent policy positions to state legislatures and administrations.
  • Monitor political environment and advance policies benefiting company and communities in region.
  • Manage relationships with state policymakers.
  • Support the Director with policy work within the region as needed.
  • Develop strategies for engagement with chambers of commerce and civil society groups.
  • Travel up to 50% of the time (regional).
