Job summary

Meta seeks an experienced professional to support state public policy and government relations efforts in the Northwest US. The role will engage with state legislatures and Administrations, coordinating policy advocacy across Seattle, Denver, or remote in WA/CO with up to 50% travel.

The position reports to the Public Policy Director, West/Midwest US, and requires strong cross‑functional collaboration, strategic thinking, and experience in state government affairs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in political science, business/strategy, economics, legal, communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in public policy, advocacy, or government affairs.
• Understanding of state political process, policymakers, and stakeholders in region.
• Experience creating and implementing advocacy campaigns for state government with milestones.

Responsibilities

• Identify and analyze state legislative proposals impacting Meta.
• Represent policy positions to state legislatures and administrations.
• Monitor political environment and advance policies benefiting company and communities in region.
• Manage relationships with state policymakers.
• Support the Director with policy work within the region as needed.
• Develop strategies for engagement with chambers of commerce and civil society groups.
• Travel up to 50% of the time (regional).
