Job summary

Guardian Equipment, Inc. seeks a Regional Sales Manager for the Northeast to drive plumbing sales across CT, DE, MA, MD, ME, NH, NJ, NY, PA—East, RI, VA, VT. The role is remote with a Northeast residence requirement.

Reporting to the VP of Sales, you will build relationships with reps, distributors, contractors and engineers, manage the sales cycle, and travel ~50% overnight to cover territory. A BA/BS and 3–5 years in sales are required.

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree in business, engineering or other related curriculum.
• 3–5 years’ experience in a sales environment selling a technically‑oriented product.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven track record of success in both school and work environments.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently.
• Proficient in SalesForce CRM usage is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establish relationships with, train and support independent manufacturer’s representatives
• Establish and maintain relationships with key commercial-oriented plumbing distribution accounts.
• Establish and maintain relationships with major mechanical contractors.
• Establish and maintain relationships with engineers and design/build contractors to familiarize them with and solicit specifications for company products. Provide sales support, perform “lunch and learn” sessions, etc.
