Job summary

PEAK Construction Corporation in the United States is seeking a Project Engineer to drive project success from pre-construction through closeout. You will support field and office operations, coordinate between subcontractors, the PEAK team, and stakeholders, and help maintain safety, scheduling, cost control, and documentation.

With a bachelor’s degree in construction and 0–2 years of experience, you will monitor risk, assist in budgets and master schedules, attend meetings, and mentor junior

• Bachelor's degree in a construction-related field is required.
• Entry-level position with 0–2 years’ experience.
• Construction Management Internship or Co-op preferred prior to graduation.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Effective communicator with leadership capabilities.
• Self-motivated and able to prioritize competing demands.
• Ability to mentor junior staff and foster team development.
• Resilient under pressure with a solutions-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and supervising construction efforts across multiple projects, ensuring alignment with objectives and contractual obligations.
• Develop project budgets, scope definitions, and subcontractor buyouts, expediting procurement to mitigate pricing escalation.
• Observe job-site conditions, report risks, and assist in safety audits.
• Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project correspondence; maintain organized logs and timely responses.
• Assist in creating and bi-weekly updates of the Master Project Schedule and define critical path timelines.
• Coordinate interactions between Peak team and subcontractors, attend and document project meetings, and maintain status reports.
• Lead project closeout processes, including punch lists and documentation verification.
