Job summary

ServiceMaster Services in Richmond, Virginia is looking for a General Cleaner to provide janitorial services for client offices in the Northside Richmond area. The role offers a 25-hour workweek at $15 per hour with stable hours and pay.

You will perform trash removal, vacuuming, dusting, mopping and restroom cleaning, while maintaining a clean and safe environment and working with the ServiceMaster team to meet client expectations.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Minimum age 16+ years old.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and coworkers.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, secure and safe environment for occupants.
• Perform cleaning tasks: trash removal, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, restroom cleaning.
• Execute the cleaning plan for the building in a cost-efficient manner.
• Collaborate with ServiceMaster team members.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by promptly addressing requests and concerns.

• Location: Northside Richmond
• Pay: $15/hour
• Hours: Monday- Friday - 9:00am -2:00pm - (25 hrs/week)

Job Duties

• Consistently provide a clean, secure and safe environment for the occupants of this facility.
• Perform cleaning tasks which will include trash removal, vacuuming, dusting, mopping and restroom cleaning.
• Effectively and cost-efficiently execute the cleaning plan for the building.
• Work productively with your ServiceMaster team members.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through prompt responses to customer requests and concerns.

Job Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Minimum Age:16+ years old
• Education and work history that demonstrates work ethic and responsibility.
• Ability to communicate effectively with client contacts, building occupants, and co-workers.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and as a contributing member of a team.

• Physically able to be on your feet the entire shift and perform all tasks which include walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, crouching and lifting.
